High-end Viaduct studio apartment! 'Quays'

Positive: Property was close to everything. Negative: Microwave was not plugged in was a bit of an inconvenience, legs on the bed were not secure and the headboard moved.

Disappointed First Experience In Auckland CBD Positive: Good location Negative: - The first night the shower head was not stabled and fell on my foot leaving me with a swollen bruised toe for the rest of my holidays. - The Balcony door trips does not close properly cold air was getting in, We had to keep the heater on. - The door/windows are very hollow or not sound proof you can hear music and people talking all night until 4am, we could not get any sleep at all. - The balcony is not a sea view all you can see is other apartments across. - The cooking pan is way to old all scratched up and rusted, we had to get take out food instead. - Parking costs $50 a night its cheaper to park in public parking for the night only 1 min walk from the building, we payed $25 after 4pm. - No room service throughout the week you would have to pay for extra services and items such as toilet paper additional they will only give you 2 days worth of items. - There was a misunderstanding with garage parking yet owners still charged us $300 for unauthorised parking. - The bed collapsed when moved, seeing the bed is not stabled with a broken leg. Overall I would not recommend this apartment.

Nice room - BUT your on your own - the whole stay Positive: Very good room with balcony overlooking the viaduct - close to all restaurants and lower city- comfy bed Negative: There is NO reception - you get a code to enter the building - no one works in the entry - you need to carry all your luggage to your room then enter your room with a code . In the 3 days i never saw anyone - room/ bed not serviced at all - bed not made

Negative: Window did not seal properly which allowed noise from the karaoke bar downstair into the apartment, which continued after midnight every night. Shower wand mount was not articulated - unable to point in correct direction Bed base collapsed, upon inspection feet had been “glued” in place with kitchen silicone.

Positive: Great location, facilities and a perfect space with everything needed for a short stay Negative: Slightly loud at night but that comes with the location
