Penthouse Crown Jewel

Great location to stay beside the water and near bars / restaurants. Easy to access. Positive: Great location if looking to be in the city centre by the water and close to bars and restaurants. Great view from room and great amenities including full kitchen, two bathrooms and comfy couch. Negative: A bit expensive for late check out but was nice to be able to choose this. Is very loud at night however we were expecting this from the location and not bothered by it - maybe just important for people who are light sleepers or bothered by noise. They did provide ear plugs which is nice!

Excellent stay, location was perfect for what we were looking for. Easy access to bus, tours, and the viaduct restaurants. This unit had all the amenities you could possibly need for an extended stay including dishwasher, in room washer/dryer and two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Excellent balcony view!The ONLY negative which has been mentioned before and not something the owner can prevent is there seems to be one restaurant that insists on playing their music on the exterior until 2-3 am depending on the night. Auckland really should look into a noise ordinance of some sort as it must be a nuisance to the boats and other accommodations along the viaduct. I am all for people being able to have a good time late into the night but no reason this restaurant should be allowed to play the music to the exterior. Bring a set of ear plugs if you’re extra sensitive to noise
