Waterfront Wonder + CP!

Luxurious relaxation with an outstanding harbour view. Positive: Fantastic view of the Viaduct Harbour. Design of apartment incorporating views is excellent. Facilities luxurious and made stay extremely enjoyable. This may become our new ‘go to’ when down at the Viaduct. Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Terrible communication. Poor agent coordinating. Would rather make an unhappy customer than create a return booking each time we visit. Negative: Communication and treating customers reasonably.

Fabulous accommodation, lacks nothing but they need to organise a better system for entering and leaving. We loved it Positive: It was situated overlooking the harbour. A lovely building with more glass than you could believe It is beautifully furnished and decorated inside. Everything has been done to a VERY high standard It is truly amazing Negative: We couldn’t work out how to close the blind in the bathroom or…. Was there one ? Going to the loo with a whole apartment block across the way able to look in didn’t do it for me but ….. needs must so we just got on with it I did not like how the arrival was managed . I went to an address which was an empty room /office (??) and there was nothing there except keysafes. I didn’t know what to do so I called the number on my booking. . The lady said we weren’t expected until 3pm. I said NO, that wasn’t the case. There appeared to have been a breakdown with my booking. I asked for an early check in and a late check out . It didn’t happen. The apartment hadn’t been cleaned at this stage and we (4) are standing on the street with all our bags ( boarding cruise next day) and nowhere to go. So I had to go to a cafe to get wifi and book an early check in and a late check out (2pm next day) I had to pay for this facility. I wasn’t happy. We did not get into the apartment easily but were so relieved to be in we just accepted it. Next morning we all went out but one of us had to do work before he would go as we were going to have a big time difference. He popped out and when he returned the code didn’t work. He called his wife who confirmed it was the correct code but he couldn’t get it to work. Fortunately another person living/staying there came along and let him in. His wife returned ……same thing. My husband and I returned….. the same thing . It was a nightmare. Everyone of us was very annoyed about this as we had paid for late check out. Not good

Positive: Stunning view with everything on your doorstep Negative: Very noisey at night with bars pumping, totally managable with ear plugs and we felt worth it for the location but might not be ideal for anyone wanting peace and quiet
