Extravagant Escape

Very happy with our stay, great value for money, definitely recommend Positive: Location was ideal, spacious apartment, car park was a real bonus, handy to everything in the CBD

Nice surroundings, good site, perhaps a little too noisey at times with the music from outside at night. Positive: The owners have good taste in furniture. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen well set up. Negative: Don’t like giving personal details prior to the trip. I am a good customer with booking. com ,they have my personal details and I am now level 3 on their site. I booked through them. I canceled another apartment because of that.

Great location beautiful apartment Positive: Spacious and beautifully presented Full kitchen Nice outlook Great waterfront location in a vibrant part of town, walk out the door to restaurants and bars Good communication from managers re self checkin Negative: Unfortunately not soundproof enough to block out noise at night from the restaurants and bars. Loud music, had to try and sleep with noise cancelling headphones. Some minor things that could be fixed - Pillows but all too big, they should include different sizes; the water drained out of bathtub - plug didn't seal properly; a nespresso machine or at least a plunger would be better than instant coffee sachets

I thorougly enjoyed my stay. Positive: Loved the location. There is however a Pub directly below the apartment with a speaker facing towards the apartment. I travelled during the week but the football world cup was on so noise went on until 12:30. I imagine that the weekend would be noisy but it was worth it for the view and experience of being right in the heart of the Auckland Viaduct. Negative: The bed was too soft for me and not a matress with springs. I think that this could be improved upon. Also no early or late checkouts without having to pay a lot extra.
