The Prestigious Penthouse

Negative: People kept parking in our allocated carpark so we had to wait and keep going up and down to move car. Nothing to do with property owners though.

Amazing Location Positive: Beautiful apartment on the 6th/top floor with an amazing view from the balcony looking over the harbor. Apartment was very comfortable. We liked that there was a table and chairs as well as a sofa on the balcony. The washer and dryer were great to have. Towels were nice and thick. Apartment/condo is in an actual hotel which allows for great security (need key to allow the elevator to bring you to your floor) however this also means you cannot get in any earlier than your approved arrival time, as the instructions are sent right at that time (don't go to the address noted in the booking.com site for the keys). Bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Plenty of electrical outlets and mirrors. Hair dryer worked great. There are lots of restaurants and bars below in the harbor area and we couldn't hear any noise at night, it was a nicely insulated apartment and was very quiet.

Lebhaftes Viertel Positive: Die Wohnung hat eine wunderschöne Lage; uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, dass wir uns in einer Gegend mit vielen Lokalen befanden, in denen bis spät in die Nacht viel los war und Musik spielte. Der Lärm hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, wir haben die ausgelassene Stimmung genossen. Praktisch ist der Parkplatz für das Auto (im Voraus zu reservieren), der zwar extra bezahlt werden muss, aber direkt an das Wohnhaus angeschlossen ist. Negative: Die Küche ist nicht gut ausgestattet. Es fehlen zu viele Dinge, um auch nur etwas Kleines zuzubereiten. Es gibt zum Beispiel eine Presskanne, aber keinen Kaffee. In allen anderen Unterkünften standen uns verschiedene Zutaten für ein kleines Frühstück zur Verfügung, auch wenn dieses nicht inbegriffen war. Es gibt nur ein einziges Küchentuch, das zudem nicht zum Abtrocknen von Gläsern und Tellern geeignet ist. Es gibt keine zwei gleichen Weingläser. Wir haben darauf verzichtet, zu kochen oder auch nur das Frühstück zuzubereiten, und sind immer ausgegangen.
