Penthouse Glory

Celebrated my nanas 92nd birthday with a view & peace 10/10 Positive: The location, the view, the cost space 10/10 Negative: Minor but batteries in bedroom tv remote need to be replaced,

Not a good value. So many other choices in Auckland. Positive: Location is convenient and the views are spectacular. Negative: Room is dated. Broken couch. Only provided 1 dishwasher soap pod, minimal dishes provided. The hotel has moldy smelling carpet in that hall, likely due to the leaky roof. The windows/sliders are not soundproof at all. Friday and Saturday nights are super super loud from the bars below. At least until 2 am. Or later.

The penthouse apartment had a spectacular view of the Viaduct harbor and was in the middle of a prime entertainment district with lots of restaurants. Despite the proximity to so much activity, the apartment was still relatively quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable and the entire apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. Parking deck in the building was somewhat expensive, but was extremely convenient. Lots of good restaurants to choose from in the Viaduct as well as easy access to harbor tours.

Positive: Perfect views of the marina, comfortable and very nicely decorated. A 10 on all accounts. Good communication from host. Negative: Everything!
